On the road with Nimbus, a MAN TGS 18.360 with a cabin from action mobile
Gloria and Renato have been traveling with their Nimbus since 2014. It was always clear that they wanted to travel after leaving the job. The first idea to travel with the sailboat went down the tube because Gloria gets seasick. When they started travelling, they were happy that they will have no more appointments and they were looking forward to the wild animals of Africa. They want to travel as long as their health permits. Getting to know people on the way makes them happy. The most useful part they took with them is the thermal mats from Bantam to protect the windows from the heat. What impressed us most was their special fridge for well-stored Ticino cheese, which is installed in their vehicle ;-). They plan to travel from Angola through Namibia and South Africa and then ship Nimbus via Europe to South America. From Switzerland, Gloria misses her dogs and Renato misses the Ticino mountains a bit. We’ve learned that Renato wants to wash Nimbus more often than Gloria. We had great days together and hope to meet them a few more times.
