Basically, the transport has been stress-free and above all damage-free. We took several days to prepare Globi for shipment, empty and lock everything well, only the blank driver’s cabin was open.<\/p>\n

The local agent in Port Elizabeth, BLS PORTCO SA, was very helpful, but not proactive. All information you wanted you had to ask for. The customs clearance could be done at the agent\u2019s office in the city and the stamped Carnet de passage was then brought to us. On the day of shipment, the agent drove in front of us to make sure we find the right place in the port and pass all controls. Even transport to the airport a bit later was also included. We felt very well looked after with this agent.<\/p>\n

\"S\u00fcdafrika\"<\/p>\n

The shipment was organized via Seabridge. The ship left on time and even arrived in Zeebrugge with only one day delay. We always hide cigarettes for the crew in the driver cabin. This time not a single pack was taken. We received our vehicle in the port in perfect condition. Seabridge has carried out the information and administration very professionally and to our full satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The acceptance of Globi in Zeebrugge was a bit mixed. The local agent, ICO nv, did not feel really responsible and first asked for money. In the end, we got the corresponding addresses in the port from him, so that we could do everything ourselves. Support in a more advanced way was not offered. We were also not informed if and when Globi was unloaded and ready to be picked up. When we complained about the fat taxi bill, we were informed that the taxi bill would probably not play a role in the big bill for the transport. All in all, we were a bit disappointed with the locals on site, but happy that Globi arrived safely and on time.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
