After traveling for three years through the quite warm southern Africa, Hans from Gautschi Tech<\/a> has rebuilt the air conditioning system so that it runs well. Our former builder has installed a three-phase motor for the compressor, which has received in theory enough power with the soft starter from the alternator, but unfortunately they have put all the other consumers on just one phase, so that it was overloaded when the air conditioning was running. And hence it could not deliver enough voltage. Therefore, the air conditioning was never running. Hans has now installed a 24V system that works without a generator and above all produces cold air!
