On the road with a Toyota Land Cruiser 79 double Cab TD 4.5l V8 with Conqueror Companion off-road Caravan
Meeting them in Knysna was really extraordinary for us. For years we stayed in contact with them via e-mail without having seen them. With their Robusto 6×6 they were a model vor us. Brigitte and Edy travel since 2005 without limit – out of curiosity. Their best experience was the moment leaving home for a new way of living. They were excited about the new freedom, no pressure anymore and the possibility to shape their day. Travelling over a Chinese bridge on the so called road to death with a limit of 5t with a vehicle of nearly 20t they found quite challenging. Most important for them are their camera and the Victorinox knife, both is in heavy use every day.
Their tips for new travellers: try to come with an open mind and be flexible. Even after 10 years they are still hungry travelling and they wish to do that for many more years. And most importantly they hope to stay healthy as long as possible.
